Home Office Solution
Jason is the owner of a small business providing search engine optimization and Google AdWords services. In addition to Jason, the company employs two remote salespeople and one full time employee who works both remotely and in the office.
Jason had set up a main company number, but whenever a customer called looking for one of his salespeople, he had to take down their information and have the salesperson call the customer back. The salespeople would often give out their cell numbers so that clients could call them directly which was costly and sometimes confusing to the customer. Jason also acts as the technical support contact, but his salespeople had no way to transfer calls to him.
Jason wanted to make his organization more unified and give it a professional image while still allowing his employees to work from home. His existing telephone number was connected to his new hosted PBX system using an auto attendant that could direct calls to each employee in the company. Using the dial-by-name directory feature customers could find his employees using their first or last name. Each employee on the hosted PBX was given a 4-line business telephone, an extension number and a personal voicemail box.
Whenever a customer called the main phone number they now hear an auto-attendant and could choose between a specific department, an employee's extension or the operator. The hosted PBX solution allowed each employee to instantly see who was on the phone, transfer callers between extensions and even host conference calls.
The company also fully utilized the "Find Me" function. This function allows the salespeople to give out the main companyís telephone number and the hosted PBX will find them either on their cell phone, home phone, or any other number they specify. The employee can then choose to accept the call or send the call to their voicemail box.
For the remote salespeople, they simply installed a VoIP phone in their home and were instantly able use a four digit extension number to call each other, the main office, and transfer calls amongst each other. This resulted in significant savings over the companyís previous solution, and being able to project a much more professional image.
Multi Office Solution
Jeb is the owner of a full service insurance brokerage office with two offices in separate cities. In his previous arrangement, calls between the two locations were done by making an outgoing call and there was no way to transfer calls between offices. The offices were also able to call each other and transfer calls using their 4 digit extension number, saving further monthly costs. When customers are on hold, they hear customized hold music depending on which office they called. Even further cost savings and customer service improvement was realized by cutting labor costs, since the calls now automatically roll over to the other office, eliminating extra staffing in Office A.
DCC VoIP also installed custom code on the companyís hosted PBX system that allowed the after hours call forwarding function to work without any interaction. Each evening it just works. K-12 Charter School
A large charter school with three buildings all located near each other was previously using a hardware, location based PBX system.
